How the Agency Coach FAQ is written

Last updated: Published by Tim Kilroy

Answers in the Agency Coach FAQ come from Tim Kilroy's published methods and from named, linked industry research, and each one leads with the direct answer. This page explains what we use, what we leave out and how pages are kept current.

Where do the answers on this site come from?

They come from two places: Tim Kilroy's own published playbooks and coaching approach, and outside statistics that are quoted as published, with the source named and linked. Tim Kilroy's figures, such as more than 300 agencies coached, are presented as his own reports, not as audited results.

Fact 01

The rules every answer follows

  1. Lead with the direct answer in the first sentence.
  2. Quote outside statistics exactly as published, with the full range and the source.
  3. Never present an outside statistic as Tim Kilroy's own result.
  4. No invented testimonials, ratings, clients or case studies.
  5. Comparisons judge every entry on the same stated criteria.
  6. When a fact depends on your situation, say how to confirm it.

Why are there no ratings on this site?

We only show ratings that clearly belong to this business. The one public rating we found under the name Tim Kilroy is a Yelp listing for a different business, an insurance representative, so we did not use it. When a verified rating for Tim Kilroy's agency coaching exists, it can be added with its source and date.

Which outside sources do we cite?

Current pages cite Haus Advisors for agency industry benchmarks, MySalesCoach for sales coaching research, Landbasefor lead qualification, AgencyAnalytics for client attribution trends, and Luisa Zhou's coaching statistics roundup for the size of the coaching industry. See them together on agency growth by the numbers.

How are pages updated?

Each main page shows a Last updated date near the top, and that date only changes when the content changes. Prices and tool descriptions are checked against timkilroy.com and dated with an as-of month. Questions or corrections can go to Tim through the contact page. Back to the agency coach FAQ.

What is an agency coach?

An agency coach is an advisor who helps owners of marketing, creative and similar service agencies fix the business behind the work: positioning, lead generation, sales process, pricing and operations. Tim Kilroy coaches agency owners in group and one-on-one formats, reports coaching more than 300 agencies, and brings over 25 years of agency and marketing experience.

Is sales coaching worth it for agency owners?

Published research suggests frequency matters. MySalesCoach reports, from research across 3,700+ sales professionals, that teams coached weekly achieve 76% quota attainment versus 47% for those coached quarterly or less. Those are general sales figures rather than agency figures, but they support reviewing calls regularly instead of occasionally.

How much does Tim Kilroy's agency coaching cost?

As listed on timkilroy.com as of November 2026, Agency Studio is $399 a month and Agency Studio+ is $999 a month, which adds a custom plan and a monthly one-on-one with Tim. SalesOS and DemandOS are custom builds scoped after a call, so they have no published price. Check timkilroy.com for current pricing.

Who should look for a different kind of help?

If your main need sits outside sales, positioning and demand, such as pure delivery efficiency or accounting, a specialist in that area may fit better. If you are below about $20K a month, getting reps on a clear offer may matter more than coaching. A short call can help you decide which side of that line you are on.

How do I get started with an agency coach?

Name your biggest constraint first: positioning, pipeline, conversion or delivery. Then reach Tim Kilroy through the contact page on timkilroy.com. If you are not sure where the problem is, the WTF Assessment on his site is a two-minute diagnostic designed to show where an agency is stuck and which tools to use first.
